Key Milestones

2001—2005:Getting Started and Taking Root
2001—2005:Getting Started and Taking Root
The company was officially founded in 2001. At that time, China had just joined the WTO, the doors to foreign trade had just opened, and the market was full of opportunities, but also full of uncertainties. In the early days of the startup, the team only had a few people, the office was basic, and equipment was limited, but everyone had a strong drive—to get the product made and keep the customers. Those years, the company mainly survived on ceramic heating cores, with customers concentrated in China and India. There was no brand, no recognition, and it all relied on the boss leading the way in looking for customers, supervising production, and ensuring quality. Every order was hard-earned, and every client was personally followed through. Around 2003, the company gradually got a foothold. Those five years were the foundation-laying years. The company learned how to control costs, how to ensure delivery times, and how to survive in tight spaces. More importantly, it built up a group of clients willing to cooperate long-term, planting the seeds for future development.
2006—2010:Expansion and Regulation
2006—2010:Expansion and Regulation
By 2006, the company experienced its first real expansion. Orders grew noticeably, and the existing production capacity started to feel tight. The company decided to move to a new factory, add production lines, purchase new equipment, and triple its capacity. During this phase, the company began transitioning from 'workshop-style management' to 'standardized management.' They introduced an ERP system, ISO quality management system, performance evaluation system, and departmental responsibilities gradually became clearer, with production, quality, sales, and finance each handling their own roles. When the global financial crisis hit in 2008, many competitors went under, but the company managed to withstand the impact thanks to the customer base and quality reputation built over the previous years. In fact, after the crisis, they even took on some orders that shifted over from competitors. By 2010, the company's annual output and workforce had doubled again, and the customer base was growing fast. The company was no longer just trying to 'survive,' but started thinking about 'how to live better.'
2011—2015:Upgrading and Going Global
2011—2015:Upgrading and Going Global
Since 2011, the company entered a phase of proactive upgrading. On one hand, domestic labor and raw material costs kept rising, making low-end competition increasingly tough; on the other hand, the company realized that just doing OEM work had no future, and it had to move up the value chain. Over these five years, the company did a few key things: Product upgrade: Shifted from low-end to mid-to-high-end products, increased R&D investment, and launched several new products each year. Going global: Officially set up a foreign trade team, attended various trade shows, and expanded clients from a few developing countries to developed countries in Europe and America. Capacity expansion: Enlarged factories and introduced automated equipment. Certification: Obtained CE/UL/ISO9001 and other certifications, which opened the door to the European and American markets. By 2015, foreign trade accounted for over 65% for the first time. The company transformed from a local factory into a foreign-trade enterprise with international clients.
2016—2020:Brand and Risk Resistance
2016—2020:Brand and Risk Resistance
From 2016 to 2020, was the five years when the company shifted from 'selling products' to 'building a brand.' Foreign trade competition was getting tougher, and price wars were no longer effective. The company began to emphasize its own brand JCD and ODM capabilities, with differentiated product designs. The keyword for this period was 'risk resistance': In 2018, during the US-China trade friction, some customer orders were affected, so the company quickly adjusted its market structure and ramped up development in Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. In 2020, when the COVID-19 outbreak caused offline exhibitions to stop, the company swiftly turned to online promotion, using Alibaba International, independent websites, and video factory inspections, maintaining customer communication and order conversion. Internally, lean production, digital management, and equity incentives were implemented to improve efficiency and keep the core team stable. By 2020, customers were spread all over the world. Despite the volatile external environment, the company kept up and even strengthened its adaptability through the crisis.
2021—2026:Deep Cultivation and the Future
2021—2026:Deep Cultivation and the Future
After 2021, the company entered a 'deep cultivation period.' It no longer blindly pursued expansion, but focused on profit quality, customer structure, technological barriers, and brand premium. Over the past five years, the company mainly did several things: On the product side: Increased R&D investment, developed core technologies, patents, and exclusive designs, with some products reaching industry-leading levels. On the marketing side: Deepened its presence in the European and American markets, established strategic partnerships with key clients, and explored emerging markets to reduce reliance on a single market. On the production side: Promoted smart manufacturing, green factories, and automation improvements. On the branding side: Transitioned from an 'invisible factory' to a 'named supplier,' gaining a certain level of recognition in the industry. Looking back at that small workshop with just a few people in 2001, it has been a 25-year journey. There were no miracles, only gradually making products well, serving customers well, and leading the team well. In the future, the company will continue to focus on welding tools, avoid chasing trends or quick money, and aim to be a company that can endure cycles.
